Mo’s Crib is a socially impactful homeware company that designs and manufactures high-quality products such as laundry baskets, planters, placemats, trays, decor, and even outdoor furniture using recycled or environmentally non-invasive materials. We are committed to empowering marginalised communities by creating job opportunities and fostering economic growth. Our mission is to provide sustainable and stylish home decor while making a positive social and environmental impact. With a focus on community-building and environmental sustainability, Mo’s Crib stands out as a unique player in the homeware industry. Mo's Crib supplies retailers such as Woolworths, @Home, Mr Price Home and also exports internationally to to Crate & Barrel, Target, and CB2. Mo's Crib is founded by sisters Morongwe and Moshibudi Mokone, employs 102 full-time and part-time staff. The business has been operating for over 4 years but has reached great success; winning awards both locally and internationally.
The Mushroom Box
The Mushroom Box is a pioneering enterprise founded in 2019 by 19-year-old Alec Scott, dedicated to revolutionizing the way people interact with mushrooms. Our mission is to empower individuals to cultivate their own healthy, medicinal mushrooms at home while fostering a deeper connection to nature and contributing to a more sustainable future.
We offer a unique subscription-based model that delivers meticulously curated mushroom growing boxes directly to customers' doorsteps. Each kit is designed for ease of use, allowing individuals of all skill levels to experience the joy and benefits of mushroom cultivation.
Beyond the cultivation experience, we are excited to introduce our new line of medicinal mushroom capsules, offering a convenient way to harness the power of these incredible fungi.
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond our products. We actively promote soil regeneration by encouraging customers to mix the spent mushroom substrate into their soil!
