ARUMLOO

The Arumloo Low Flush Toilet is a breakthrough in water-saving innovation, designed to flush effectively on just 2 litres of water. That’s less than a third of the 6 to 9 litres used by most modern toilets, offering significant savings in both water and cost. The impact becomes even greater in high-use environments like schools, universities, and offices, where toilet flushing makes up the bulk of daily water consumption. In one school in Botswana, the installation of Arumloo toilets led to a remarkable 70% reduction in overall water use. By combining efficiency, affordability, and sustainability, Arumloo proves that small design changes can deliver massive results. It’s more than a toilet—it’s a solution for water security in a changing world.

Inverroche Bee&Bee

Solitary bees are vital for pollinating one-third of the world’s food crops, yet many people don’t even know they exist. Unlike honeybees, they do not live in hives but in natural holes in decaying trees, riverbanks, and other habitats. Urbanisation has rapidly reduced these nesting grounds, threatening their survival. Inverroche, a gin brand guided by sustainability, recognised that these bees are essential for pollinating Fynbos, a rare botanical used in their gin, native to the Cape Floral Biome. To help, they created the Inverroche Bee&Bee: innovative packaging that, once emptied, can be reassembled into a bee hotel. This provides Solitary Bees with safe new homes while engaging consumers in conservation. Inverroche turns packaging into purpose, supporting biodiversity and sustainability, one gin bottle at a time.
