The Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ)

The Atlantis Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) is pivotal for economic growth and job creation through its focus on four key pillars: growing the green economy, attracting Greentech investment, promoting sustainable manufacturing, and fostering inclusive growth and jobs. By actively identifying and recruiting Greentech investments, ASEZ enhances job creation and direct investment, emphasising renewable energy and agro-processing. It collaborates with various agencies to position South Africa as a prime investment destination.

ASEZ aims to be a net-zero carbon, water-secure, circular manufacturing zone, supporting biodiversity protection. It fosters inclusive growth by creating jobs, building skills, and supporting enterprises, working closely with investors and the community. This holistic approach, underpinned by good corporate governance, positions ASEZ as a catalyst for sustainable and inclusive economic development in the Western Cape.

Ultimately, ASEZ promotes solutions to climate change and lays the foundation for climate-friendly industrialisation.
